Urasawa : On September 27, 2007, I had dinner at Urasawa. Urasawa is my favorite restaurant in Southern California and definitely one of my favorite places to dine in the world. I used my Expodisc for white balance and shot in RAW. I adjusted the exposure in Photoshop CS3. I also too another trip on November 9, 2007. Rather than create a new set of pictures, I simply added to the end of this one. I didn't take pictures of everything...just some dishes that I didn't already have pictures of. Lenses used: EF 24-70mm f/2.8L EF 100mm f/2.8 macro

India : I was in Delhi and Mumbai for a week from Jan-Feb 2008. This was a business trip so I didn't get much of a chance to venture out and sightsee but I did capture some pictures (mostly from the car while en route to meetings). I did see a few cows walking along the streets and some poverty here and there but overall, the poverty levels have gone done a lot (from what everyone tells me). The economy is booming, there is a lot of construction, and overall the economy has trickled down so that's a great sign. I was careful with the food and water so I did not get sick. I ate mostly at the nicer places but did try to sample some of the local cuisine whenever possible. I rode a few black and yellow cabs but did not get a chance to ride a rickshaw.
